Chinese Company Now Lets Employees Take Leaves When They're Feeling Sad.
Feeling Down? Take a Break! This Chinese Company Lets You Do Just That
Tired of work getting you down? A company in China is doing something pretty cool to help its employees. They're letting people take leave when they're feeling unhappy!
Yup, you read that right. On top of their regular vacation days and weekends, employees at Pang Dong Lai, a big retail store chain, can now get up to 10 extra days off if they're just not feeling good. The boss, Yu Donglai, says unhappy workers shouldn't even come to work! Managers have to approve these "unhappy leave" days, showing the company really cares about its employees' well-being.
Why the change? Mr. Donglai believes a happy and healthy workforce is a successful one. He wants his employees to be relaxed and take care of themselves, which will eventually make the company even better. Basically, he thinks happy workers lead to a happy company!
This new policy is a big step towards making workplaces nicer and more understanding. By letting people take time off when they need it, this company hopes to create a work environment where everyone feels good and gets things done. Pretty neat, huh?
